When Vironeo processes protected health information (PHI) on behalf of a medical practice, it does so as a business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable Business Associate Agreements. PHI is used only to provide the contracted services, is protected with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including encryption in transit and at rest), and is never sold. Patients should direct requests about their medical records to their treating clinic, which remains the custodian of the legal medical record.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages, or as required by law. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance or contact your clinic. Text messages are reminders only and do not contain diagnoses, results, or medication details.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law and our healthcare clients' record-retention obligations. Access is restricted to authorized personnel, and audit logging is maintained on our clinical systems.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you (subject to legal and medical-record retention requirements) by emailing info@vironeo.com. Florida residents and residents of other states with privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws.
Our website and SMS program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through them.
